Que, Que Alarm Clock “Que, Que! Get up Kaname, if you don’t you’ll be late!” That chanting is enough to drive anyone out of bed. The voice for the persistant alarm clock is Kyoko Tokiwa, Kaname’s best friend.
Gauron checks out Chidori's Apartment Gauron’s investigation of Kaname’s apartment building was dropped from the novels due to page count restrictions. Shouji Gatou was very pleased when they included it in the animated series just before the highjacking.
While the production team traveled to Ariake for inspiration, the city that the Behemoth attacks at Aomi pier is fictional. Apparently it’s not too far downstream from Tokyo Bay.
In the original draft discussion there was supposed to be a scene following the fishing scene that ended the series back at school, however the fishing scene culminated the action due to time constraints. Perhaps this is the motivation for the school scene ending to TSR?
