Jindai High - A Full Metal Panic! Fansite

Trivia

kosha.jpg Full Metal Panic! Jindai High was actually modeled after an actual high school in Tokyo, Japan. The school is called, surprisingly, Jindai High School. Click the picture or here to read more about this little nugget of knowledge.

Fumoffu Despite popular belief, Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu is not the sequel to the first season. Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid has been noted to be the official second season of the Anime series.

Fumoffu It looks like a typical Japanese classroom, but did you know Shouji Gatou (the mastermind whom created the brilliance that is Full Metal Panic!) is a student at Jindai High? Click the picture or here to read more.

Episode 6, Trench Scene The movie Chidori mentions while Sousuke, Weber and herself are surrounded by the enemy hidden in a trench in Episode 6, Still Alive is Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.

Sousuke, Sagara Sousuke The introduction of “Sagara. Sousuke Sagara.” from Episode 1, The Guy I Kinda Like is a Sergeant, is a true intentional parody of the infamous “Bond. James Bond.”

Sousuke, Sagara Sousuke Forging the High School Rugby Club into the aggressive winners they needed to be came in the true Gatou sense, parodying the movie Full Metal Jacket. - Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, Episode 7 WarCry of Excessiveness

Sousuke, Sagara Sousuke Shinji calls upon coordinator power he didn’t know he had (who knew!?). The S.E.E.D. of Gundam SEED breaks to aid Shinji in infiltrating the open air bath at the Hot Springs in Fumoffu, The Goddess Comes to Japan II

Sousuke, Sagara Sousuke The origin of the word Mithril comes from the writings of The Lord of the Rings, a light and versatile metal strong against many odds. Quite fitting indeed for the mercenary unit we’ve come to admire.
