Sergeant Sousuke Sagara, who infiltrates Jindai High School, is the foster son of Andrei Puleminin (alias of Lt. Commander Kalinin) and returned to Japan from the northern California town of Fayetteville. While Sousuke Sagara is his real name, the citizenship papers were doctored by Mithril after his time as a guerilla in Helmajistan, he went by Kashim - official Mithril documents show his birthday as 7 July 1984. In the student council he is in charge of safety and security, and is the assistant to the student council president. Raised in a war-torn Hell, Sousuke has a difficult time adjusting to the peaceful life in Japan. Completely lacking common sense in things that govern daily life, the students at Jindai High School consider him ‘war crazy.’ But with the students focused on their students and individuality, a principal with higher educational ideals (part of which is due to the large amounts of donations from an unknown source) and an understanding ally in Atsunobu Hayashimizu, the student council president, Sousuke actions attract very little attention.
Sousuke is extremely calm and composed with a very serious personality. He always looks proper with has sharp eyes and mouth always turned downwards. Sergeant Sagara’s expression rarely changes, even when he is having fun.
