He has a flippant personality that makes it difficult to believe that he is a skilled sniper.
Due to his father’s job as a special correspondent for a newspaper, Kurz lived in Edogawa in Tokyo until he was about fourteen. Hence, he knows Japan more than Sousuke and speaks the language fluently. He himself says he is Japanese at heart. A man with no true military experience, his life is full of mysteries.
