sousuke never really thought too much about leaving mithril or what he would do afterwards for the longest time. he sort of figured he would just stay in one military or another, and just keep doing missions until he died. It wasn't until he met chidori that his way of thinking changed.
I was going to say he would probably be either in another PMC/merc group, or be a consultant. then i realized him consulting civilians about military stuff is about the worst thing he could do. everything would be covered in armor, have mounted machine guns, etc.
onsen sounds nice. problem, is japan is like 90% old people now, and thats all that go to onsens, so they are more like an old folks home. if the situation was different, then yeah, it would make a lot of money.
