You might have noticed how quiet it’s been of late (or not). Due to being so busy with school and real life, I’ve been sorely neglecting this place. I also have not been feeling well which may contribute to some of that neglect. :( I apologize sincerely and will make amends. *pets website, forum and members*

I will be updating the main site and possibly the forums this summer break. It’s my number one priority. Yes sir! *salutes* If I don’t please our members 100% I am giving them permission to fire at will. O_o

It’s contest time! Anime News Network is holding a contest to give 3 free Blu-ray TSR sets away!

“FUNimation Entertainment and Anime News Network are giving away three (3) copies of the Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid – Blu-ray Box Set Remastered (Blu-Ray). What’s more, prizes will be shipped on August 6th, so the winners should receive their sets before the set is released to stores on August 11th.”

Although unlikely to happen, Anime News Network reserves the right to cancel this contest at any time. Only 1 entry per computer / e-mail / mailing address allowed. Contest is open to any person aged 13 years or older, but prizes will only be shipped within the continental United States and Canada (So if you win, but you live in Antarctica, you have to arrange to have it sent to someone living in the appropriate area, and they can send it to you.) Happy Holidays

I know we’ve been so non-existent lately, what with school bogging us down like with craziness. But it’s the holidays now! Time to catch up and add some yummy content. We’ve had some requests for some additions and they will be worked on and hopefully added before the new semester starts. We are also holding our first Annual Viewer Choice Awards which will be held until our Official One Year Anniversary on January 7th, 2009.

Major Updates

We have moved to a new server which is more reliable and a lot faster. ^__^ Considering we are so image, video and content heavy it is so important that we have a good speed to rely on as well as reliable up-times. I only worry about this because I know if I visit a website and it’s frequently down it can get very annoying. So, here we are with a really great hosting company and I couldn’t be more pleased.

Also, I have added screencaps of TSR’s Clean Opening and Closing to the Screencap Gallery. Happy graphic making! Which reminds me, have you used any of our screencaps to make graphics? Please show us, we’d love to see how we helped you!

Due to some recent constraints with our old screencap system, we were forced to convert to another form of displaying them. For the convenience of our Internet Explorer 6 users we have removed the transparency issues and moved to a Coppermine Gallery which is much more IE6 friendly. ^__^

Quiet Time

It’s been a little quiet around here at Jindai High but then that’s completely understandable; classes are coming to an end and finals are wrapping up. But summer is coming and it’s all about fun time (for most of us at least)! Time to sit back, relax and enjoy a little time off from the studying and assignments. We’ve been adding little things here and there to the main website but for the most part, it’s been a little hectic for everyone.

We’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Bontakun117 and IsrafelofMusic for gallantly proofreading and correcting our silly little grammar mistakes on our character pages. As well as, Blackwolf581 and fmp_whispered for their excellent contributions to the character bios! And bmasterson for contributing some very good reading!

The Full Metal Panic! Fan Community would be nothing without it’s fans and it is our goal to make this website as comprehensive as possible. We wouldn’t be able to do it without the help of our fellow fans. So, thank you all for everything you have done and everything that you do! *hugs*

Updates

In an attempt to index a little more efficiently, we updated out character bio pages. It’s now split up into 5 sections: Jindai High, Mithril, Antagonists, Machinery and Supporting Characters. More bios have been added and if you have something you’d like to add please let us know and we’ll add it and credit you.

We have also added a sitemap page which lists every link on the entire website. This was done in effort to help people find things a little easier than having to sort through the massive amount of pages we have compiled so far. And with the new additions every day, we’ll try to keep that page as up to date as possible.

On the anime front, there has been some rumors floating aorund about a fourth season. I have yet to find any evidence to back this up but I will be doing some digging online this coming week. The minute I find any info I will post it on the forum. I’m going to try to learn some Japanese this summer so hopefully I can surf some foreign sites for information. *fingers crossed*
