Vice Principal

The ever grumbly Vice Principal of Jindai Municipal High School serves as Principal Tsuboi’s foil. His first and only appearance occurs duing the first episode of FMP? Fumoffu when he fills the hallways with his shouts on his way to Principal’s office. Bursting into the room and slamming down a report for the costs accumulated from Sousuke’s destructive behavior, his outbursts are full of anger and complaints. Old-fashioned and set in his ways, the Vice Principal claims Sousuke’s antics are unacceptable. Principal Tsuboi still considers Sousuke’s background and nature into the equation before coming to a conclusion, while the Vice Principal’s anger blinds him to the eccentric logic.

He is revealed, through furrowed eyebrows and old-framed glasses, as a balding man in his mid 40s. His hair doesn’t show signs of aging, however, the balding might be a sign that he’s been in the profession too long. Potentially a controlling sort of personality, the Vice Principal blantantly professes that he’s heard Principal Tsuboi has been bribed into keeping the young menace in the school system. This type of behavior, unbecoming of such a person in high position of faculty staff, doesn’t seem to be new to Principal Tsuboi - notably, the Principal’s word is unchallenged after calmly claiming the irrelevancy of the accusation.
