Senpai Fuwa

This handsome guy was the former senior classmate of Kaname when they attended the same junior school together. He and Kaname happened to meet again on the train several years down the road and since it has been almost 3 years since they’ve seen one another he doesn’t hesitate in asking her to go out with him. She agrees to go with him to Fumo Fumo Land upon his persistent text messaging requests.

Knowing Kaname held an old flame for him during their junior days, he feels comfortable in confessing his feelings for her while they are atop the ferris wheel. While Kaname is wild and free in expressing herself verbally – even to the point of endangering herself earlier at the park – he feels drawn to that characteristic, regardless. His love was rejected because of Sousuke who was in Kaname’s mind at the moment. But surprisingly, he didn’t get angry or obnoxious, he instead asked if Kaname liked someone.

Fuwa is pivotal in revealing Kaname’s interest in Sousuke as love, clearing the denial she’s felt for the boy’s awkward affections. When the drunken yakuza threatened him and Kaname, Fuwa is more mild mannered than our hero Sousuke Sagara. He doesn’t charge into action but simply watches as the scene unravels. His alternative method to fighting is attempting to speak to Kaname in hopes of dulling her mannerism directly lessening the severity of the situation to no avail.—fmp_whispered
