Mari Akutsu
Inside the abandoned warehouse terrorists buzzed to life, surrounding bound Kaname armed with various household weaponry. Sousuke’s arrival didn’t surprise Mari and thinking she had the upper hand told Sousuke he would fight every gang member present. The method of attack was not what she suspected though, Sousuke won with mental warfare when he revealed innermost secrets and threatened most prized possessions of his adversaries. What started out as plenty of gang members reduced to only a handful of spectators from Sousuke’s frightening words.
Effective as it was, he knew that the tactics would not work well against Mari herself and as an added precaution against this took Yoshiki, her little brother, hostage. Still resistant to giving into her fear, for doing such would surely relinquish her of her gang leader title and image, Sousuke then engaged his backup plan; exploding Yoshiki’s bindings one by one until she gave in. In the end, Mari digressed and developed a respect for Sousuke’s ability to perform under pressure when Yoshiki revealed that Sousuke was truly fearful for Kaname’s life and had bribed and begged him in the middle of his classroom to help him attain her.—fmp_whispered
