A rough sort of guy, he detests when people address him solely by his first name without his permission – claiming “I only let a few people call me by that name.” This facet of his personality did not sit well with Gauron at first meeting – getting the impression that John thought he was in charge and telling him what to do Gauron knocked him to the ground once he was free of his bindings and aimed his gun in an area that would get his message across loud and clear to a hard-headed man. This elicited a sincere apology from Danigan and a re-correction of the balance of power.
Sergeant John Danigan admitted to Guaron that he wavered on crossing Mithril, suggesting that he has a soft heart for the organization, but it was no match for power. He was so impressed by the way Gauron executed his moves at Berildabou Island that it made the decision for him. It was enough to kill his fellow comrade, Junior Technician Lian Shaopin.
