An elder woman with silvering hair, she withstands allegations and the results of Sousuke’s destructive behavior in the boardroom as the Principal of the school. She is not one to quickly lose her temper and is surprisingly understanding of the young boy’s background, actions and purpose even though we are under the impression that no one knows of Sousuke’s mission and real intention for attending Jindai High.

Unconfirmed reports would say that this “understanding” comes with a large monetary bribe accompanying the boy’s enrollment. Fundamentally irrelevant, we can see that the Principal is the perfect individual for such a large responsibility over an entire school body. With that many differing personalities coming together, even in peaceful Japan, one has to be flexible to the vast array of life approaches.

While Principal Tsuboi is not as directly supportive as Hayashimizu Atsunobu, she is one of the few that stand on Sousuke Sagara’s side of the line.—Miz
