No one served such a cruel fate as Eri Kagurazaka, for serving as the English teacher of second year students never seemed so dangerous! With students like Kaname and Sousuke in her class Miss Kagurazaka deserves a raise. She is fully in charge of inspecting the bags of every student before they enter the school grounds and during the 1st episode of the original season she was the one who saw the concealed weapon that she calls as a toy in possession of our undercover bodyguard.
Since their first introduction she was also pushed down from the stairs because Sousuke misinterpreted a terrorist will attack on Kyoko and Kaname. The amount of chaos caused by her new student culminates into several visits to Kozue Nishino, the school nurse. Despite the abusive relationship, she has a strong sense of justice and always makes her students her top priority.
Since she’s been confiscating weapons from Sousuke since day one she must have a nice collection in her office by now. Without being granted a moment’s peace, she’s one you should be very careful of ticking off!
Miss Kagurazaka’s apartment complex is depicted as a run-down tattered building that embarrasses her. Her neighbors are quite unwelcoming of loud noises, often issuing face-to-face complaints and her gas seems to be in non-working order. Luckily, with skills akin to our militaristic hero she provides herself a portable burner to cook when such an occasion rises. She appears to spend her money on food, as she has a ravenous appetite with a high awareness of the body’s need for vegetables and protein of the animal and plant variety. Her secret passion is what must consume the remainder of her money, as she is an avid collector of Royal Copenhagen, a 200 year old Danish “Royal Copenhagen Blue” designed porcelain created by Johann Bayer and used to serve royalty. The Flora Danica botanical 17th century prints are her most cherished pieces.
She describes the life of Johann Bayer, saying he solely spent twelve years of his life painting designs with the inspiration of 2,000 species of plants. Miss Kagurazaka seems to admire the legend that the artistry ate away at Bayer’s soul and consumed his sight.—fmp_whispered
