Ena Saeki
Ena Saeki is the younger girl that has a crush on Sousuke and ultimately provides as an effective foil for Kaname to realize her feelings for the Sergeant, since Ena acts on her emotions for the military boy. In an futile effort to express herself she left a love letter, explaining that she’d be waiting by the gymnasium, in Sousuke’s shoe-locker… However, detecting his property had been infiltrated Sousuke promptly took corrective action – smoldering the lockers and nearly decimating the love letter in the explosion. After a botched attempt to put the letter back together (which concluded in a string of ridiculous threats against the Sergeant’s life), at the noted meeting spot Sousuke treated Ena like a terrorist at gunpoint- once again dedicated to taking corrective actions against the threats she promised to fulfill in her letter. Sousuke effectively put an abrupt halt to that friendship as she ran way feeling miserable.
Ena Saeki is in the rank of top students in her class, even winning the Miss Jin High competition mentioned in the 2nd episode of the first season! Leading one to wonder if Ena won against Kaname… Distinct features that won this shy girl the contest title includes brown eyes and short yellow-brownish hair frequently kept from her face by a pink hairband.—fmp_whispered
